The Chargers announced on Monday that they made three roster moves. The Bolts waived recently signed Sebastian Johansson and linebacker Brock Hekking. They also signed offensive lineman Vi Teofilo after he tried out for the team after impressing at Rookie Mini Camp this past weekend.
Teofilo, an undrafted rookie free agent out of Arizona State University, signed a three-year contract. The former Sun Devil showed off his incredible strength at ASU’s Pro Day when he put up 225 pounds an impressive 43 times. That number would have been No. 1 at this year’s NFL Combine.
Johansson had been brought in as an undrafted rookie free agent, too. The Swedish player from Marshall had just been signed by the team over the last week.
Hekking — who possibly sports the best hairdo in all of the NFL — was placed on reserve-injured for all of the 2015 season. The team waived/injured the linebacker, but he may still be brought back to the squad to the fact that he still has practice-squad eligibility.
